The Wind & Weather Meter app works with the WeatherFlow WINDmeter and the WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter -- available for purchase at retailers online and offline.
When paired with a WeatherFlow meter, this free app allows you to take & share weather reports from your exact location. Capture highly accurate weather data, including wind speed (average, gust and lull), wind direction, air temperature, humidity and pressure. The app also give you values such as wind chill, heat index, apparent wind, crosswind, tailwind, dew point, air density and more. Add a description and instantly share your report via Twitter, Facebook, SMS, email and more. Weather reports captured from this app can be posted instantly to popular online weather services including iKitesurf, iWindsurf, SailFlow, WindAlert, and FishWeather.

Avoid. Crashing 100% of time.
No mentioning of wind meter needed before installing
I love your product and your ideas for weather, but for App you aren’t good (see also sail flow). Again, after you start to sale the new meter (the station via bluetooth) the app is always crashing (not that before was good…) Today after 10 re-open (it crash every time before/when 1’ of measurement ended) I decided to switch on BT, and the app start to be a bit stable (measurement of 30 sec were possible, but crashed again). Now, the condition are perfect, wind up to 40[kts], wifi connection, 3G signal 5 star, BT on, iphone 4s vertical pos., “old” wind meter device clean and working!!! So please do a better debug and do a stable app, or, do 2 different version one for windmeter, one for weather station!!!!!! Thanks!
It would be nice and helpful to put in your description that this app requires the purchase of a device that plugs in your phone. If this would have been an app that required purchasing u would have been just a little upset.
This app is total junk. It requires you to buy a separate wind meter that plugs into your iPhone. Deleted it within the first 60 seconds!
